Head Coach: Jim Coley
Jim has taught social studies for 23 years, and has been in Reynoldsburg High School for the past 13 years. He graduated from The Ohio State University. He currently teaches AP government and Engineering Design and Development. His love of tools and all things mechanical led him to help launch team 4085 in 2011. His Primary focus on the team is robot construction; he also supports fundraising.
Build Coach: Joe Griffith
This is Joe’s third year as a FIRST robotics coach, and he is excited to help build our young team. Joe recived his degree in chemistry from The Ohio State University. He is currently a physics teacher at eSTEM Academy in the Reynoldsburg City School System. During the summer he coached a group of students at The ROV Underwater Perch and they won the challenge. He is thrilled to implement his knowledge as a teacher into robotics and the exciting, new challenge.
Programming/Mentor/Academics Coach: Anna Levina
Anna is one of the three coaches for Team 4085. She graduated from Kent State University with honors and obtained her master’s degree in Math Education at John Carroll University. She has been teaching math for five years and is currently teaching trigonometry, pre-calculus, as well AP calculus. She had prior knowledge in coding and believes robotics is a very empowering way for students to be involved and enhance their technology skills.
